ever since i got my Wii on release day i’ve been really impressed with nintendo, granted i like all my games and consoles but lately nintendo has been standing out for their coutesy to the customers, i think sony and microsoft should be taking a page out of their book, here’s the timeline that makes me think this way:

first i get free nintendo powers for registering my nintendo products, which is cool as hell and made me want to subscribe

second, people are breaking stuff with their wiimotes because the straps can’t handle the intense swinging these idiots are putting them through, not knowing you don’t need to swing that hard, so nintendo sends out a message to all registered wii owners that they will give them the new improved straps for free because from now on they’ll be coming with all wiimotes, very cool on their part, microsoft or sony would make you just buy a new controller to get the new strap

third, people are still breaking their wiimotes, basically because they’re fucktards and not using the wrist strap, so what does nintendo do, creates a sleave for the wiimote that cushions it in case it goes flying, and again, all registered wii owners get the email and get free sleaves, very very cool, got myself 4 even though i won’t be using them because they don’t work with my wiimote charger, plus i’m not a moron and can hold onto my controller and use the wrist strap

fourth, i purchased the legend of zelda phantom hourglass, and like all my nintendo products i registered it, shortly thereafter i get an email offering me a free limited edition zelda feather stylus if i answer a few questions, of course i do it, it was like 5 questions, and today the stylus arrived, i figured it would be in bubble wrap but was pleasently surprised that it came in a zelda themed box, and inside the box was foam with a cutout for the stylus and of course the stylus, very badass nintendo

so, what i think is that these other fucking companies should take a few notes, hell it took microsoft over a year to admit the 360 was fucked up and longer to extend the warranty, and of course now they just replace your faulty 360 with another faulty 360, thankfully my 360 is still going strong, and then of course you got sony the big mean spiteful kid, put a system out with no games and want an insane fucking price, no one buys so instead of lowering the price, they lower the price and take away some of the stuff, yeah, good job sony drop it $100 and remove 20g from the hard driver, well, being a computer person i know that 20 gigs cost like $10, so you didn’t do it to save money you did it out of spite, all like, fine, you want buy it i’ll give you the cheaper price you want, but i’m taking back some of it, then of course it still doesn’t sell, pssss hey sony, games would help, so they drop it down to $399 now, thats a reasonable price for a working ps3, oh wait, it’s not working completely anymore, again out of spite they take out backwards compatability, so now if you don’t have a ps2 and want to play ps2 games you need to buy one and give them the $100 back, and if you look online kids are creating emulators that run games, so it can’t be too expensive to add the emulation code, so its not saving them money it’s just more spiteful bastard moves, what next, bring it to $200 but it only plays ps1 games and no blu ray?, and now you can check out images of my badass stylus

ok i’m sure that got some attention, well, if anyone reads anyways, OMG he loves mmo’s and hates WoW, blasphemy, well, i don’t hate WoW as much as i hate WoW players, the ones who state woW is the end all be all of mmorpg’s, the people that say that only have half the sentence right, it’s not the end all be all of mmorpg’s, it’s the end all be all of the pathetic existances, yes, i played WoW for a while, at times i played a lot, but i also had a life outside the game, OMG!!!!SHIFT+1!!!! (sorry, stole that from carrion), anyways, the whole point of this is that i’m looking around for an mmo to play, and i liked the trial of the LotR’s one so i wanted to see if like most it came with free 30 days or not, and i saw some reviews while i was looking, everyones all LotR copied WoW, LotR stole from WoW, you people who say that do realize that every mmo is almost identical right? insert races, insert quests, make it online, boom, mmo, the benefit to LotR quests is they have a story to them it’s not “hey, go kill 50 of these because i need the items and am too lazy” over and over and over and over, and if you want to get technical give credit where it’s due, the new WoW expansion with the lich king that brings out necromancers, oooooooo everyones so excited, hell, way back i used to play EQ, and guess what one of my toons was, *gasp* a necromancer, how unique, they must have stole it from WoW before WoW was even a developers wet dream, and that was with the core game, not a few expansions in, hell EQ2 is still doing cooler stuff then WoW, poison someone in WoW they turn green, poison someone in EQ2 the grow boils all over and throw up and shit, now thats fucking cool, your dismissed now, and your homework is to pinch a loaf on your significant others forehead and tell her/him it’s from me with love , and if she isn’t happy about it that means she doesn’t really love you

so i’m like a big rpg fan right, in my spare time everyone knows i play video games, most of my free time is playing video games and the genre i like the most is rpg’s, most of my rpgs are on the ps2, why? well, because the other syste,s don’t have many rpg’s for them, and as i’ve stated to plenty of people before, the xbox 360 NEEDS rpg’s to be a completely solid system, thats the front it’s lacking in most, so this year we have some rpg’s coming out or already released for the 360, new oblivion, mass effect, blue dragon, and eternal sonata, and i’ve already run out and pre-ordered sonata, oblivion can wait a bit, but in the beginning when some of these games were announced i was waiting for mass effect (of course), and blue dragon, then the demo drops on live for blue dragon:

i rush in, download it, start playing, first thoughts are that its way to clean, shiny and childish, upon playing futher my first impressions are confirmed, the fucking dragons that you fight with look like big fucking inflatable balloons, or like genie from disneys alladin, it fucking sucks, he’s all cartoony and shiny

look at that thing, its like the fucking stay puffed marshmellow man of rpgs, ooooo scary dragon, now i know that xbox was hopeful that this would boost sales in japan since they are still sorely lacking there, the problem with this is 1. microsoft is a western company and 2. treat them with some respect assholes, you keep giving them these ugly ass games thinking that this is what the japanese people want, what does that say about your thought process microsoft? are you trying to compare the japanese to children who need bright shiny things to keep their attention? dumb move in my book, we’ve seen that developers for xbox can make gritty graphics in games, look at condemned, badass game, look at bioshock, another badass game, granted they’re fps games but they can make realistic looking graphics, why not for rpgs, eternal sonata is bright and shit but at least theres stuff all over the place, your not running through big empty fucking hallways that are all imaculately clean, the evil doers in blue dragon must have massive fucking ocd when it comes to cleaning, surprised they even have time to be evil when they are busy polishing everything to that sparkling shine, the next major problem with this game is that they got the guy who did dragon ball z to do the character design, bad baaaad move, he’s good an all when he did dbz, but everything i’ve seen in games from him, blue dragon, and dragon quest, are the same fucking thing all shiny, all the characters look like they walked out of dbz, the whole time i played dragon quest i was waiting for one of the characters in my party to start glowing, gyrating, and screaming kami hami haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, it was rather disturbing, here’s an example of the characters, as well as this green guy from dragon quest who is like identical to some guy in dbz:

seriously, wtf, everyone talks about this guy like he’s some fucking legend, but everything i’m seeing is nearly identical, why doesn’t he team up with some developers and make a fucking dbz rpg and get it out of his system, seriously, its fucking annoying, i’m done talking now, here’s some more screenshots i couldn’t find a use for in the rant:

ok so i finaly gave up playing World of Warcraft, i have a lvl 60 night elf rogue sitting there if you know, anyone wants to like buy him, he’s all nakie though but i could send 200 gold back to him so he can be equipped, anyways, i’m looking for some now mmorpg to play, for the dipshits out there thats massivley multiplayer online roleplaying game, but you should know that it’s like a household term now, I played the Lord of the Rings one and liked that but not sure about getting an account yet, also have tried Everquest II, also a good game but the population seems very slim, Eve online was pretty amusing, Star Wars Galaxies also seemed fun, all in all i’d probably prefer a good free game right now due to all the games i need to beat still, here’s my damn list of games that need to be finished:

this is a new game coming out, it’s already out overseas and from what i hear it stormed those countries and is one amazing game, even to the point of dethroning WoW, as many know i’m currently addicted to Wow but do always have my eyes open for new games and this may be it, after trying many and many sucking this one so far looks damn amazing and i’m am greatly anticipating it, here’s a couple vids to show you what I mean
